Acne breakouts Wrong beliefs

Being a teenager isn’t always easy, and it can be made a lot more complicated if you suffer from acne. It seems like everyone you talk to has a favorite story about what causes acne, or how to get rid of it. Acne is a skin problem that gets aggravated with the clogging up of oil and dead skin cells. Acne has several other names, mainly, acne vulgaris, and the other ones are blackheads, pimples, whiteheads, or zits. In clear words, acne is the aggravated form of pimples or we can say, red spots.

Squeeze A Pimple To Get Rid Of It – You should never squeeze a pimple. It is tempting to do this to get rid of the ‘sight’ of it, but do not make it a practice. Under your skin is very delicate and you could bring about such inflammation that it will cause a permanent scar. Allow them to heal on their own. Acne is not caused by make up and can in fact increase your confidence but making you feel better about your appearance. However, basic cleanliness is important to keep your skin bacteria free and this means making sure you wash any make up brushes etc. frequently.

Again, while it may make sense to “clear out” the bacteria by popping a pimple, in reality this practice will push the bacteria deeper into the skin and leave open wounds where the pimple was. This can lead to secondary infections and scars, while furthering the spread of acne-causing bacteria at the same time. Even though it may at first appear to clear or dry acne problems, there has been no studies that support that long term exposure to sunlight will cure acne, which adds this to the list of acne myths.Even though you may find that your self-esteem is better because of having a tan. The redness may be temporarily reduced; it could actually cause more acne problems in the long run.

This is another of the acne myths that needs to be dispelled. It can also be one of the most dangerous of acne myths because it can cause a person to use harsh soaps and chemicals on their skin in an effort to get it clean. Stress is a common mistake if you have stress there is a chance you will get Acne urticata. Acne urticata is a form of eczema so not really acne in the real meaning of the word. However this myth is true you can get acne or more acne if you have stress.
